Can anyoneĭetermine how to fix this issue? It doesn't happen with other triggers, justĪlter failed for Trigger 'TRG_MyTriggerName'.Īn exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. Trigger and select 'disable' I receive the error pasted below. dbcc checktable ('sys.sysschobjs') Msg 5245, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Object ID 34 (object 'sys.sysschobjs'): DBCC could not obtain a lock on this object because the lock request timeout period was exceeded. I've tried disabling a trigger via SSMS (VS2005) query window and it takesįorever 'executing', until I just cancel it. The error says it all: SQL Server was unable to get the locks necessary to rebuild the index.
